In addition to the rental fee (see individual barbecue areas), a deposit of €30 per barbecue area is required in cash for the grill grate and a large cart.
- All barbecue areas operate with charcoal.
- Charcoal, food, and drinks must be brought along.
- For the deposit, you will receive a grill grate (the grill is already provided on-site) and a separately reserved cart to transport your belongings to the barbecue area.
- If desired, you can also request catering. Our animal park inn will gladly deliver the food and chilled drinks according to your preferences. Order the barbecue packages at the inn "Zum Thiergarten" by calling (05671) 766499-90.

G1: Playground
Located right next to the children's playground, this barbecue area offers a great location for groups with children. While the grill is sizzling, the little ones can enjoy themselves on the playground, and parents can keep an eye on everything, including wisents and Dybowski deer!

G2: Otterpond
Slightly offset along the main avenue, right next to the otters, you'll find this fantastic barbecue area. There is always something to discover here. While not manning the grill, you can watch the agile otters splash around or take a leisurely stroll to the children's playground.

G3: Sababurg View
Enjoy a breathtaking view of Sababurg Castle and the Beberbecker horses from this barbecue area. Indulge in the undisturbed beauty of nature right next to the farmhouse, with toilets conveniently located nearby. There's plenty for the little grill guests to explore and discover!

G4: Panoramic View
What would you do if you had lynxes on one side and wolverines on the other? Well, of course, you would barbecue! The Panoramic View barbecue area offers this wonderful location right next to our predators. Don't worry, the lynxes and wolverines can only watch!

Located above the wisents, the Wisentblick barbecue area awaits you. Idyllically situated with a view over the wisents, Dybowski deer, and Exmoor ponies all the way to Sababurg Castle. Not far away, you can also discover our lynxes and wolverines. With this view, nothing can go wrong!

G6: Fisher Hut
Located slightly off the beaten path below the mouflons, you'll find the quaint little fishing hut. It's situated on a green area near the carp pond, providing a wonderful place to relax. The small rustic hut offers shelter from the wind and weather. A classic barbecue spot!
